Open the doors and walk the paths of Subiaco and you'll find a place where people greet you warmly, ask you how you are, and wait for your answer. It's a place where relationships matter as much as success in our many and diverse classrooms. It's a place that asks you to challenge every preconceived notion you might have of yourself, forcing you to take risks in the context of a supportive and warm environment. The challenges are harder here, the friendships stronger, and the success you earn stays with you for life.
We asked Jordan Pridgin, Class of '08, "Why Subiaco?" You can read his reply below.
"At Subiaco, I saw the Benedictine monks who devoted their lives to serving God. I saw the teachers who would do anything to help one of their students. I saw the students' effort to capture knowledge. I began to realize that I could do better, and that I could now go beyond my former average goals. Attending Subiaco Academy truly opened the door and let a brighter future inside. This experience has taken my 'just enough to get by' goals and replaced them with loftier ones. For all of this, I will be forever grateful."
We also asked other students "Why Subiaco?" You can read their replies to the right.
