On Wednesday, Yearbook Advisors, Michelle Chuang and Christina Stengel, and yearbook staff attended the annual Jostens' workshop at Greenwood Performing Arts Center. Mr. John Cutsinger was the featured speaker sharing his experience and expertise from theme to design. Our yearbook staff has worked together to come up with theme and cover ideas for two weeks. They met with one of the plant artists to design the cover of the 2025 Yearbook. The boys had a delicious lunch at El Palenque Mexican Restaurant. We are off to a great start! #subiacoacademy

We welcomed guest speakers to campus yesterday in two of our classrooms. A representative from the University of the Ozarks gave a presentation to the seniors in the college applications and resources program facilitated by Mr. Pugh, our college counselor. Sra. Flores welcomed Mr. Leo Cantú to speak to her Spanish class about the importance of learning Spanish. Mr. Cantú works at Bank Ozk in Russellville as a senior vice president of commercial lending. Having guest speakers on campus enriches our students' learning experience by providing real-world insights, diverse perspectives, and valuable feedback. Our Academy celebrated weekly Wednesday student mass today, with participation of student altar servers, lectors, singers, and ushers. Fr. Patrick gave the homily on this feast of St. Augustine of Hippo who is known for the passage in his Confessions , "You have made us for yourself O Lord & our heart is restless until it rests in you." #subiacoacademy

After three years in Rome, our beloved Br. Raban is back at our Academy and settling right into coaching Cross Country again! He starts his practices with prayer and ended the first one with ice cream in Wardlaw Student Center! He's also once again teaching the concurrent English classes for our upperclassmen. This morning began this year's first student-led rosary at 7:50 a.m. Every Monday will be Marian Monday on the schedule of our new campus ministry program designed to build our brotherhood in Faith. Our Subiaco Trojan Cycling team raced today in the NICA Time Trial at Conway, Arkansas. This sport is growing tremendously in popularity in our area, and our own Trojan cyclists excel in their sport!
