Today is a special day for Subiaco Abbey and Academy. We celebrated two anniversaries - the 145th of the founding of our Abbey and the 64th of the dedication of the church! A special day at a special place alongside special people!
Perfect early spring weather and an enthusiastic group combined for a successful retreat in the Mulberry River Valley. The area offered waterfalls, climbing, and time for introspection. This was the final underclassman retreat for the year.

Learning Chinese can be fun! During Enrichment, students learned counting and money while playing boards games. One group played Bounce Off. The group played Monopoly.
Additional update from the junior high track meet in Ozark. John Crank broke the Subiaco junior high school record in discus with a throw of 99 feet 9 inches.
The record was previously held by Haeven Patterson. The record was 96 feet.
Update from the junior high track meet at Ozark... Jude Post broke the Subiaco junior high school record in triple jump with a jump of 31 feet 3 inches.
The record was previously held by Jackson Dart. The record that Dart had was 31 feet 1 inch.
The Senior High Trojans took second place at the very competitive regional tournament on Saturday in Berryville. We qualified for the state tournament and will be competing again in a few weeks! Onward Trojans!
Dylan Earl '08, performed to a full house in the Subiaco PAC last night. It was a special evening of great live music, and a bit of a 2008 reunion.
It's a great race at the swim meet on Feb. 25. Trojans finish in 6th place out of 15 schools. They swam hard and brought home many medals. Thank you Coach Spillers! Thank you for all that you do for the team!

The Jazz Ensemble played to a very appreciative audience and a standing ovation at Saint Joseph's Mardi Gras celebration.
After several postponements, the 10A class retreat finally made it to the Mulberry River valley. The retreat was focused on chapter 6 of the Rule of Benedict, Restraint of Speech.
The Subiaco Trojans Swim Team competed in the 4A-1A/5A District Meet in Clarksville on February 9th. The boys took home the Conference Runner-up title!! Way to Go!!

The Junior High Quiz Bowl team is headed to State!
Friday, February 10th, the JHQB team competed in a regional tournament held in Berryville. The team competed in the day long tournament consisting of 6 matches, winning 5 of the 6 games. Not only did these fine young men go nearly undefeated, they were the only team to beat out Berryville! Onward Trojans!
