The junior high track team had a big night in Stuttgart. They broke 4 junior high school records.
John Crank broke the junior high school record in shot put. The school record was 37 ft 3 inches and was held by Ethan Raino in 2021. John had a throw tonight of 41 ft 7 inches.
John Crank also beat the junior high school record in discus. John already had this record but today he had a throw of 105 ft 5 inches.
Kanaan Nehus broke the junior high school record in the 200 meter dash. Kanaan ran a time of 25.98. The old record was 26.10 and was held by Joshua Robinson in 2017.
The very next heat Kanaan's newly broken 200 meter record was broken by John Crank. John ran a time of 25.56 making him the 200 meter record holder.
Kanaan Nehus was able to set a new junior high school record in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.40. The previous record was held by Jordan Rainwater in 2016. Rainwater's record was 12.44.

Br. Jude taught students how to craft wooden bowls during Renaissance Day last Tuesday.






Another Renaissance Day activity was a day at the Abbey Lake Dardanelle Cabin building, painting, and hanging blue bird houses around the property. The students also prepped their own lunch and dessert, and they had time for fishing, boating, and some silly games with Ms. Fox and Ms. Chuang.
