Student Council
The student council’s purpose is to develop the student’s attitude so that he may get the full benefits of the Subiaco Academy program through democratic leadership, scholarship, and spiritual and social development. The council fosters cooperation and common effort between students and faculty in accordance with the mission of the Academy.
The executive council consists of a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and parliamentarian. The president, vice-president, and secretary are elected each April to serve the following school year. The president appoints the treasurer and parliamentarian. In the fall, each class elects a president and three class representatives to serve on the student council for that school year. The headmaster appoints a member of the faculty to serve as an advisor.
